The Corporation has stated that even though India has increased the new prices of petrol by Rs 31, diesel and kerosene by Rs 54, and cooking LPG by Rs 216, the price of fuel has been increased at a very low rate.

Due to the tension in West Asia, fuel prices have skyrocketed in the international market. Its impact has reached Nepal. Even though the price increase came from India, the Corporation has stated that it has not increased the prices of petroleum products by a large amount, saying that it will affect consumers and will bear it from the price stabilization fund and past profits.
