In Tamil Nadu, 29 people died due to consumption of toxic alcohol, the condition of more than 60 is alarming

20 June, Tamil Nadu – In Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi, many people have lost their lives due to consumption of poisoned liquor.

It is said that 29 people have died due to consumption of toxic alcohol and the condition of more than 60 is alarming. District Officer of Kallakurichi MS Prashant met the person undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College Hospital of the district.

Chief Minister MK Stalin also expressed grief over the incident and said that action would be taken against the officials who failed to stop it.

Stalin expressed his grief through a post. He said, ‘I am shocked and saddened to hear the news that a person has died due to consumption of adulterated alcohol in Kallakurichi.’
