Teacher giving up political party membership
19 June, Kathmandu – 825 teachers have left the membership of political parties. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology announced this through a press conference on Tuesday.
Education Minister Sumana Shrestha announced the progress of the teachers leaving the membership of the party through a press conference on the occasion of the completion of 100 days.
During this period, Minister Shrestha informed that 45 teachers received complaints and 421 teachers were asked for clarification.
According to him, four teachers have been acquitted and 20 teachers have resigned from the teaching profession.
Minister Shrestha told the conference that he did not leave it until the last moment to free the teacher from the political party. She had instructed the teachers to give up their membership of the party after assuming office as the Education Minister.
